Overview

The bimanual leader-follower configuration that imitation-learning programmes collect data on. An operator drives two leader arms; two follower arms mirror the motion on the task, while synchronised cameras record the episode.

  • Leader arms on the operator side, follower arms on the task side
  • Gravity compensation on the leader arms so the operator is not fighting the mechanism

Who uses it

Teams collecting demonstration data for imitation learning, and teams running the post-training loop where an operator takes over mid-rollout to demonstrate recovery.
