RESEARCH PLATFORMS

Build a research stack you can actually test.

For manipulation and motion-data research, compare platforms, hands, capture, sensing and control interfaces. See the distinct lab demonstrations Knoxlabs can discuss today; a complete robot integration is scoped separately.

Commercial research only; model availability and authorization are checked per configuration.

Concept animation of an operator-capture and humanoid research setup—not a validated teleoperation integration. Robot mapping, control, synchronization, and safety require project-specific testing.

REAL WORK AT KNOXLABS

Two hands-on demonstrations, with clear boundaries.

These show the capture and manipulation components our team has worked with. Neither is presented as a completed, validated humanoid deployment.

TESTED IN OUR LA LAB

MANUS gloves + Tesollo hands

Knoxlabs has demonstrated glove-to-hand motion using MANUS gloves, Tesollo dexterous hands and its own integration software. Platform mounting, full-body control and production use need separate validation.

TEAM TRAINING AND DEMO HARDWARE

Xsens Link motion capture

Our team completed hands-on Xsens training in suit setup, calibration and capture software. A Link suit and Humanoid license are reported at our LA-area office. Robot retargeting, control and safety are separate engineering work.

Ask us to confirm the equipment available for a visit. These are separate demonstrations; we do not imply that Xsens, MANUS and Tesollo have been validated together as one humanoid system.

Three things we ask about
Experiment and tasks
Hands, vision, and capture
Integration and model status

FIT CHECK

Start with the experiment

The research goal should drive the hardware configuration.

  • Experiment and target tasks
  • Bench platform, capture, or both
  • Hands and sensing needs
  • Software and power constraints
  • Space, safety, and support owners

THE HARDWARE SCOPE

What the hardware plan covers

01

Robot platform

Arm and platform choice based on the physical research setup.

02

Manipulation hardware

Hands, grippers, mounting, and controller interfaces reviewed per model.

03

Capture and sensing

Teleoperation inputs, motion capture, depth cameras, and feedback options.

04

Compute and interfaces

Data paths, power, software ownership, and compatibility validation.

05

Support plan

Delivery, setup scope, spares, and the people responsible for operation.

HOW WE WORK

A research setup with explicit assumptions.

We do not claim tested third-party software integrations unless they have been validated for the selected build.

01

Define the experiment

Share tasks, fidelity needs, lab constraints, and existing software.

02

Select candidates

Review components and identify compatibility tests and authorization checks.

03

Scope the build

Clarify the bill of materials, integration responsibilities, and support.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you reach out

Is this a turnkey humanoid system?

The answer depends on the configuration. We specify hardware and clearly separate any required integration or software work.

Can you recommend a hand?

Yes, after reviewing grasp tasks, mounting, controls, sensing, and the platform interface.

Is every configuration available for US use?

No blanket claim is made. Availability and any required regulatory status are checked for the specific model and configuration.

START A CONVERSATION

Tell us about your robotics project.

Share the task, what you already have, and what you want to achieve. We will review the hardware scope and follow up with practical next questions.

An early idea or equipment list is enough to start.

How can we help?

Tell us what you need and the right specialist will get back to you.

We reply within one business day, Monday to Friday. Often sooner.

How urgent is it?

Urgent means it is blocking an order, a deployment or an event.
