For qualified organizations

Try hardware before your team decides.

Evaluate VR, motion capture, and robotics hardware before committing to a program or purchase. Qualified businesses, schools, universities, healthcare teams, research labs, and public-sector organizations can request a shipped device, an in-person visit, or a live demo.

The process

How testing a device works

01

Tell us what you want to test

Pick a category, the specific product if you know it, and your use case.

02

Tell us how and when

Shipped to you, in person at Glendale, CA, or a live demo — plus when you'd like to do it.

03

We confirm the details

A Knoxlabs team member follows up within one business day to lock in the device, format, and timing.

04

Test it

In your space, at our facility, or on a call with our team — whichever you picked.

Who this is for

Built for teams making real purchase decisions

One person wearing a VR headset in a private office, with a second headset stored in an open carrying case on the desk.

Evaluating for a department

Test fit, comfort, workflow integration, and software compatibility before recommending hardware to your organization.

Six people wearing VR headsets together in a team workshop, with a facilitator holding a tablet and a case of spare headsets nearby.

Piloting with a team

Bring the right people in — a classroom, a clinical team, or a manufacturing floor — before you buy for the group.

A trade show booth where staff help attendees try VR headsets, with a cart of headsets charging in the foreground.

Comparing deployment options

Put two or three finalists side by side in your own environment, or at ours, before selecting hardware for a wider rollout.

Questions

Before you request one

Which devices can I test?
Headsets (Meta Quest, Pico, HTC VIVE, and more), motion capture systems (Xsens, Manus, SenseGlove, Weart, and more), and robotics hardware (dexterous hands, teleoperation rigs, and service robots). Tell us the category on the form and, if you know it, the specific product — we'll confirm availability.
Do I need to visit Glendale, CA, or can it be shipped to me?
Depends on the device. Some ship to you; others are easiest to evaluate in person or over a live demo, especially robotics hardware. Pick your preference on the form and we'll confirm what works for what you chose.
Can I test robotics hardware specifically?
Yes — dexterous hands, teleoperation rigs, and service robots are all part of this. Given the equipment involved, most robotics requests are set up in person at Glendale, CA or over a live demo, but tell us what you have in mind and we'll confirm.
What happens after I submit the form?
A Knoxlabs team member reviews it and follows up within one business day to confirm the device, the format, and the timing.
I need several devices on an ongoing basis, not just a one-time test — is that different?
Yes. This page is for a one-time test. If you need a rotating fleet of demo devices on an ongoing basis, that's DemoReady, our managed rental program.
