HAPTIC BLASTERS

StrikerVR

StrikerVR builds the Mavrik-Pro, a haptic blaster whose recoil and force effects are felt through the shoulder, not as a buzz in the hand. It targets location-based entertainment and training venues, where a new person picks it up every fifteen minutes. Mounts adapt it to the tracking gear on hand.

Why StrikerVR

Recoil, not vibration

The actuator produces directional force effects tuned per weapon, what makes a virtual firearm read as one rather than a buzzing handle.

Adapts to your headsets

Mounts are listed for VIVE Focus 3 controllers and trackers, VIVE tracking pucks, Meta Quest 2 and 3 controllers, and Picatinny rails.

Built for venue use

Designed for repeated handling in location-based entertainment and training rather than for a single owner taking it home.

Full SDK for developers

Unreal and Unity SDK access, StrikerLink, a Device Manager and a Haptic Library let a studio tune the recoil and force effects itself.

StrikerVR Buying Guide

01

Pick a tracking mount

The VIVE wrist-tracker plate attaches directly. Puck, Focus 3 and Quest mounts each need the separate Picatinny Rail Top Plate underneath.

02

Add the tracker itself

A mount attaches a tracker to the blaster; it does not include one. HTC VIVE sells the Wrist Tracker and VIVE Tracker (3.0) separately.

03

Plan for repeat handling

Built for venues where a new person picks up the same unit every fifteen minutes for entertainment or training, rather than one owner.

04

Build on the StrikerVR SDK

Full Unreal and Unity SDK, StrikerLink and a Device Manager let developers wire the Mavrik-Pro's recoil and haptics into a custom build.

Frequently asked questions

Which mount do I need for my headset?

It depends on what you are tracking the blaster with. A plate is listed for the HTC VIVE Focus 3 Wrist Tracker that attaches directly; the VIVE Tracking Puck, the HTC VIVE Focus 3 Right Controller, and Meta Quest 2 and 3 controller mounts each require the separate Picatinny Rail Top Plate underneath. Tell us your tracking setup and we will list the parts you need.

Does the Mavrik-Pro include a tracker?

No. The Mavrik-Pro covers the blaster and its standard top plate; a tracking mount and the tracker itself are both separate. HTC VIVE sells the Wrist Tracker for Focus 3 and the standalone VIVE Tracker (3.0) that two of StrikerVR's mounts are built for.

Is the Mavrik-Pro suitable for a public venue?

That is the environment it is built for: a haptic blaster designed for location-based entertainment and training venues, where the same unit is handled by a different person every fifteen minutes. If you are specifying a venue, ask us about quantities and spares as well as the blaster itself.

Can developers customize the Mavrik-Pro's haptic effects?

Yes. It includes full Unreal and Unity SDK access, StrikerLink, a Device Manager, a Developer Sandbox and a Haptic Library, so a studio can tune recoil and force effects per weapon rather than use one fixed feel.

Which headset platforms does the Mavrik-Pro track with?

Meta Quest, HTC VIVE (including Focus 3), and Pico Neo controllers, with custom tracking integration available beyond that list. Which mount you need depends on which of these you are tracking with.
