XJCSENSOR Six-Axis Force Measurement Kit

By Knoxlabs

Measure three forces and three torques with the XJCSENSOR X-6A-XD80-H40 EtherCAT sensor. Choose the load range and confirm mounting, power and data logging for your bench or robot.

Request one quote for the sensor and any required setup hardware or services.

All sales are final across all brands. No customer-requested cancellations, returns, exchanges, or refunds, except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing. Manufacturer warranty claims go to the manufacturer; Knoxlabs can help with order details and support contacts.

  • Capacity, supplied cable and calibration documents confirmed on quote.
  • Fixture, power, EtherCAT master and software scoped separately.

Product details

Overview

Measure three forces and three torques with the XJCSENSOR X-6A-XD80-H40 EtherCAT sensor. Choose the load range and confirm mounting, power and data logging for your bench or robot.

Included hardware

1 × XJCSENSOR X-6A-XD80-H40 EtherCAT force/torque sensor, Ø80 × 40 mm. Catalog-listed choices: 200 N / 5 N·m, 500 N / 10 N·m, or 1,000 N / 20 N·m (nominal force and torque ratings per axis). Select one on quote; combined-load limits must be confirmed. Confirm cable, connector and calibration deliverables with the quoted configuration.

What is needed for the full setup
  • Mechanical setup: Supply a rigid bench fixture or robot-specific adapter plate. Confirm bolt pattern, locating features, fasteners, tool mass and lever arm. Size the sensor for combined forces and moments, including dynamic loads.
  • Power and connection: Provide regulated 24 V DC power and a suitable EtherCAT connection. Confirm the supplied cable, termination or breakout, wiring, grounding and strain relief with the supplier.
  • Host and software: Provide an EtherCAT master on a compatible PC or PLC, the matching ESI file and process-data mapping, and software to log all six channels. Confirm interface, cycle rate, units and scale before ordering.
  • Commissioning: Check calibration documentation for the selected unit. Verify axes, tare with the fixture or tool fitted, apply a known reference load, and check all six readings before recording data.
Complete measurement setup by quote

Ask for a complete configuration if you need the mounting hardware, 24 V supply and harness, EtherCAT readout, logging software, or setup assistance. The second gallery image shows how these pieces fit together. Only the sensor is included in the base package; the diagram is not a wiring guide.

Request a configuration quote

Share the expected loads and moments, robot or fixture, EtherCAT master and target logging rate. Mounts, power supply, master, logging software and integration are separate unless itemized. This package is for measurement and logging; closed-loop force control is a separate integration project.

FAQ

Do I need a separate strain-gauge amplifier?
The selected sensor is the EtherCAT model. The base quote does not add an analog amplifier; confirm the cable, power and EtherCAT master with the exact configuration.
Is it ready for closed-loop force control?
No. This package is for measuring and recording forces and torques. Robot control, safety behavior and application validation require separate integration.
