Overview

Replacement battery set for MANUS Metagloves Pro and Metagloves Pro Haptic. Swap batteries between takes instead of pausing a shoot to recharge. Snap-fit mounting means no tools and no downtime.

Compatibility

This battery set is designed for the MANUS Metagloves Pro platform and fits the hand modules on:

  • MANUS Metagloves Pro — sizes XS, S, M, and L
  • MANUS Metagloves Pro Haptic — sizes M and L
  • MANUS Metagloves Pro – Top Modules and Metagloves Pro Haptic – Top Modules purchased separately

Not compatible with:

  • Quantum Metagloves (2022) — uses a different user-operated latch battery. Quantum has reached end of life and its battery set is no longer produced.
  • MANUS Bodypack Lite — uses its own dedicated battery, ordered separately.
Battery performance
  • Up to 3 hours of continuous capture per battery
  • Approximately 2 hours to a full charge
  • Interchangeable, snap-fit mounting to the glove hand module
  • Battery level reported by the on-module LED and inside MANUS Core
  • Charges via the MANUS Charging Station, which handles multiple batteries at once
Important: battery count changed July 2026

As of orders placed on or after 1 July 2026, MANUS Metagloves Pro and Metagloves Pro Haptic ship with 2 batteries instead of 4. Teams that previously relied on the four-battery configuration will need additional sets to maintain the same rotation.

This affects Metagloves Pro sizes XS, S, M, and L, Metagloves Pro Haptic sizes M and L, and both Top Module SKUs.

Who needs spare batteries
  • Robotics and teleoperation teams running continuous data-collection sessions
  • Virtual production and mocap stages where a dead battery stops the whole floor
  • Multi-actor shoots needing a charged rotation ready at all times
  • Research labs and university programs with shared glove pools across users
  • Any deployment where a full day of capture exceeds a single battery cycle
