Overview

HMS SiNGRAY G2 Dual-Battery Kit is a standalone binocular optical see-through AR platform for enterprise applications. It combines Micro-OLED displays, 6DoF visual SLAM, on-device computing, IP65 protection and a hot-swappable battery. Two batteries support a power-and-charge rotation.

Built for enterprise workflows

Remote assistance

Connect field technicians with remote experts for equipment diagnosis, maintenance and see-what-I-see guidance through a compatible application. Online collaboration requires network connectivity.

Guided work and inspection

Overlay work instructions near equipment for assembly, MRO, quality assurance and inspection. Validate spatial alignment and workflow behavior in the actual working environment.

Training and onboarding

Rehearse procedures, visualize assemblies and deliver on-equipment guidance. Content and any necessary application licenses are selected separately.

Spatial visualization and digital twins

Review 3D models in engineering, design, construction and factory-layout workflows using a compatible application.

Healthcare visualization

Evaluate spatial medical-information and clinical-training workflows. Application-specific validation and regulatory approvals remain the software provider's responsibility.

Software ecosystem and device management

frontline.io has announced its HMS SiNGRAY G2 partnership and supports Digital Twins, Interactive Flows, Remote Assist and Parts Catalog experiences on G2. Treat the application as a separately specified software offering: the Knoxlabs quotation confirms licensing, provisioning and support. A standard hardware kit does not automatically include a paid frontline.io license. Explore frontline.io on G2.

ArborXR publishes a dedicated G2 enrollment guide. ManageXR provides generic Android-device guidance. Microsoft Intune validation is in progress. Platform feature coverage and G2-specific scope are confirmed for each deployment; do not assume every platform is equally validated. Select the intended MDM platform at first boot, before installing other software.

Frequently asked questions

Is G2 optical see-through or camera passthrough?

Optical see-through. The wearer views the workplace directly through the optics, with digital content overlaid. Electrochromic glass adjusts transparency.

Which software is included?

The operating system and HMS system software are included. Authorized administrators can use SiNGRAY G2 Configure. Third-party applications, subscriptions and optional developer support are specified separately.

Can an existing HoloLens or OpenXR app run directly?

Applications are reviewed, migrated and tested rather than assumed to install directly. Confirm the engine version, OpenXR extensions, input model and dependent services.

Can the battery be changed while the headset is running?

Yes. The replaceable 2500 mAh / 7.6 V (19 Wh) battery is hot-swappable. Follow the user-manual procedure; backup power keeps the device running during a compliant swap.

Does G2 work offline?

Compatible applications can run on-device. Remote assistance, cloud content and other online functions still require a network connection.

What about PPE and prescription glasses?

G2 accommodates prescription glasses. Fit with the specific PPE required at a site must be evaluated; this is not a blanket safety-equipment certification.

How are delivery and certification confirmed?

Mass-production orders are scheduled to open October 10, 2026. Configuration, market certification, stock allocation and delivery windows are confirmed with Knoxlabs for each order; no immediate shipment is promised.

What warranty applies to mass-production headsets?

HMS's August 2026 RMA policy describes a 12-month limited warranty from the HMS ship date. An evidenced later start may be adjusted by up to 90 days. The supplied Limited Warranty and applicable law govern; contact Knoxlabs before returning a unit.
