- 39 DoF — 45 WITH COIL PRO—A 25+ DoF skeletal model with 39 degrees of freedom of output, rising to 45 when a Coil Pro supplies absolute position.
- HIGH-RATE SAMPLING—250 Hz IMU sampling and 96 kHz EMF sampling feed an 83.33 Hz data output, with accelerometers to 8G.
- UNTETHERED TO 100 M—WiFi 2.4 and 5 GHz (802.11 b/g/n) with up to 100 m of range — the gloves travel with the performer.

What's in the box?
Rokoko lists: one pair of textile gloves with embedded sensors, two long USB power cables, and a protective travel case. A battery/power bank and a WiFi router are not included.
Do the gloves work without a suit?
Yes — the gloves stream to Rokoko Studio on their own. Paired with a Smartsuit Pro II they contribute full-body hand data, and Rokoko notes the suits derive global position data only when paired with Smartgloves and a Coil Pro.
Do I need a Coil Pro?
No, but it changes what you get. Coil Pro adds absolute EMF-based position, taking glove output from 39 to 45 degrees of freedom and removing positional drift. Rokoko requires Smartgloves for Coil Pro to establish position at all.
Can I use these for robotics data collection?
Rokoko markets Smartgloves II for robotics, with streaming and export to BVH, FBX and CSV and plugins for Maya, MotionBuilder and Siemens Jack. Rokoko lists ROS and ROS2 plugins as on its development roadmap rather than currently shipping — confirm your pipeline requirements with us before ordering.
How do I choose a size?
Rokoko publishes measurement charts for both suits and gloves in its support centre. Suits are not made in custom sizes and are not produced for body heights under 155 cm (5 ft 1 in). Rokoko covers the cost of a size swap within 30 days of initial delivery, so order the closest fit and exchange if needed.
