Overview
ContactGlove3 Pro from Melt Interface Technologies (formerly Diver-X) captures hand motion for robotics, teleoperation and motion capture.
Tracking and integration
EMF sensors at all five fingertips measure absolute position and orientation in 6DOF without accumulated drift. Manufacturer measurements: 0.5 mm relative position error (maximum 1.5 mm) and 0.4° angular error (maximum 1°), under recommended conditions. Metal-noise reduction helps limit interference.
Included development support: C++ and Python SDKs; ROS 2, Unity, Unreal Engine and MotionBuilder; Linux, macOS and Windows. Battery life is up to 10 hours.
