Questions and configuration
What is the difference between Core Kit and Commissioned System?
Core Kit supplies Desktop 6D, its standard controller/power/control accessories and included API resources for your integration team. Commissioned System adds the scoped API/demo installation, device test, documentation and handover.
Is a workstation included?
No. Supply a suitable Windows/Linux PC, dedicated Ethernet interface and Cat6 cable, or request a separately priced workstation. The PC price is not included in the known hardware subtotal.
Do I need another API, TREX license or ERGO handle?
The Desktop 6D device API is included. TREX robot licensing and an extra site SDK are not automatic additions. ERGO is a TAO/TAO HF accessory and does not fit Desktop 6D.
Is my simulation application included?
The manufacturer demo is different from a completed customer application. Custom simulation content, engine integration and application code require a separate scope and quote.
Does it work directly with Isaac Sim, Unity or Unreal?
Haption lists native C/C++, ROS/ROS 2 and CHAI3D routes; partner integration is available for Unity/Unreal. A ready-made Isaac Sim or customer application integration is not assumed and must be scoped and tested.
Is this a medical training or clinical system?
No specific medical curriculum, clinical validation or regulatory approval is included. Any medical use requires an appropriate application-specific scope.
Can commissioning be remote?
Remote or onsite delivery is agreed in the quotation. Onsite travel, site preparation and continuing support are separate unless itemized.
What is confirmed before order?
Application requirements, API rights, accessories, PC suitability, lead time, freight, import treatment and commissioning acceptance scope.
