Product details
Overview
Selected package: Commissioned System. Includes the Core Kit configuration plus the commissioning services listed below, with scope, fees and acceptance agreed on quote.
What it does: Use arm and finger movements to teleoperate a dexterous robot, with force and tactile feedback through an approved integration. Commissioning adds a tested manipulation task and a sample recording.
Designed for: For robotics teams developing human-guided manipulation and demonstration-data workflows with one left-hand operator channel.
What's included — Core Kit reference components
- 1 × Haption Virtuose 6D TAO High Force: Provides arm-pose input and six-axis force feedback at the operator side. Leader device with standard ERGO controls and forearm button box. Final glove mount/interface is part of the separately quoted integration package.
- 1 × SenseGlove R1 Industry Exploration package: Tracks finger movement and provides finger-force and vibration feedback. Commercial reference package for one left-hand operator channel. Supplier must confirm exact glove quantity, link box, charger, supplied cables, license term and rights before order.
- 1 × TESOLLO DG-5F-M left hand: The robot-side dexterous hand performs the commanded finger movements and grasps. Reference robot hand; follower arm is separate.
- 1 × XELA uSkin DG-5F-M left integration: Measures tactile contact across the listed left-hand finger and palm surfaces. SKU X2C13000A: curved fingertips + phalanges + palm. Sensor integration only; hand is counted separately above.
Required to complete the configuration — priced on quote
- 1 × SenseGlove Haption integration package: Required and quote-only: approved glove mount/interface, pose route, software and applicable Haption API rights.
- DG-5F-M integration rights: Required scope confirmed on quote. Separate R1 × DG-5F-M license only if it is not already covered by the larger integration package.
- Readout electronics and interfaces: Confirm the complete XELA microcontroller, CAN interface, power and cable BOM before order; any missing items are separately quoted rather than presumed included.
A working configuration also needs the required integration, software rights and electronics listed above, with the wrist-pose route and customer infrastructure confirmed.
Commissioned System adds
- Approve the arm/hand/leader architecture, mount design, payload budget, controller interfaces and license coverage.
- Configure arm-pose control, hand retargeting, finger-force and tactile mapping; calibrate the agreed operator and setup.
- Validate one agreed manipulation task and document its acceptance conditions.
- Configure synchronized recording for agreed channels, schema and verified timing; deliver one sample export plus operator/developer handover.
You provide or request separately: Compatible robot/controller, PC, fixtures, power and network.
Quotation: Final quote includes required integration. Commissioning, optional PC, freight and taxes are itemized separately.

Customer requirements and exclusions
| Customer supplies | Compatible follower robot/controller, workstation, safe mounting/fixture, hand power and network infrastructure unless separately quoted. |
|---|---|
| Reference orientation | Left glove channel + left DG-5F-M + left XELA full coverage. Right-side or paired systems require a revised matched BOM and quote. |
| Wrist pose | R1 needs an external wrist-pose source. Confirm whether the approved Haption integration supplies it; tracking hardware is not automatically included. |
| Payload | Check hand mass, tactile electronics, mounts, tool/object and cables against the arm's payload and workspace. DG-5F-M alone is approximately 1.763 kg. |
| Software rights | Industry Exploration is the commercial baseline. Academic/R&D eligibility and deployment/implementation rights require their own approved package. |
| Excluded unless itemized | Follower arm, workstation, cameras/trackers, custom fixture, extra power/electronics, onsite travel, custom application development, ongoing support and autonomous policy training. |
| Quote information | Task/object, arm/controller/firmware, operator side, glove size/channel count, sensor coverage, deployment rights, required channels/export format, site infrastructure, destination and delivery date. |
Ordering and delivery
| Availability | Configuration quote required. Lead time and supplier production allocation confirmed before order. |

| Delivery | Haption hardware ships from France; multi-vendor fulfillment and any consolidation are agreed in the quote. |
| Commercial terms | Hardware, required integration, commissioning, optional PC, freight, tax and import treatment are itemized in the final quotation. |
| Product images | Individual component and manufacturer application reference images. Surrounding equipment or illustrated systems are included only when listed in the final BOM. |
Questions and configuration
Is this a verified manufacturer integration?
Haption documents TAO High Force with SenseGlove through a SenseGlove-provided integration. Manufacturer demonstrations also show dexterous hand and tactile combinations. The exact Knoxlabs BOM, software versions, mounts and acceptance task still require supplier approval.
What is included in Core Kit?
The listed reference components plus the required integration package and applicable rights as itemized in the final quote. Integration items are required but still unpriced; the known hardware subtotal is not a complete kit quotation.
What does Commissioned System add?
Architecture and payload review, mapping/calibration, one agreed manipulation test, synchronized recording with an agreed schema and sample export, and operator/developer handover. Commissioning fees and timing remain quote-only.
Does the price include all integration licenses?
No final package price is published. The Haption integration package and DG-5F-M rights must be priced and checked for overlap. Required integration licenses are confirmed in the final quote and are excluded from the hardware subtotal.
Can I choose the right hand or two hands?
Yes, through a configuration quote with matching glove, hand and XELA orientation. The reference BOM is one left-hand channel. Dual-arm operation requires a separate approved architecture and licensing.
Are wrist tracking, cameras and a robot arm included?
No. The wrist-pose route must be approved; it may come from the Haption integration or require external tracking. Follower arm, cameras, workstation and fixtures are customer supplied or separately quoted.
Does XELA tactile feedback replace TREX force measurement?
No automatic equivalence is assumed. Tactile-to-glove mapping and robot contact-force feedback are different integration paths and must be supported by the chosen control architecture.
Will it export directly to Isaac Sim or LeRobot?
Only if that integration is explicitly scoped, implemented and acceptance-tested. No ready-made export, recording rate or autonomous policy performance is included by default.
