Overview

A five-finger robotic hand combining 20 active joints with DIGIT vision-based tactile sensing for contact-rich manipulation research.

Built for research and dexterous manipulation

  • Dexterous manipulation — 5 (4 fingers and 1 thumb) fingers and 20 active (4 per finger) degrees of freedom provide a configurable platform for grasp planning and object-handling experiments.
  • Vision-based touch — DIGIT fingertip images reveal local contact geometry; the palm provides pressure sensing. DIGIT 360 is not included.
  • Control and integration — Hand control uses RS-485 and Ethernet. Confirm the mechanical mount, controller, power supply and software environment for your application.
  • Research deployment — For robotics laboratories, university teaching and embodied-AI development. Payload figures describe manufacturer test conditions, not a guarantee for every grasp or installation.
