Why etee by TG0

Full-finger tracking, no gloves

eteeController reads individual finger movement with a patented touch-sensing system, at 6DoF with a SteamVR tracker, no cameras needed.

Two kits, two setups

The SteamVR Kit is a complete pair with its own trackers and dongles; the AdaptVR Kit adds an eteeAdapter to a tracker you already own.

Buttonless, configurable input

A configurable thumbpad switches between trackpad, joystick and D-pad, with default gestures for Point, Pinch and Grip built in already.

Built for SteamVR headsets

eteeController works over SteamVR with HTC Vive, Valve Index and Windows Mixed Reality directly, and with Varjo or Pimax with extra setup.

etee by TG0 Buying Guide

01

Pick full controllers or an adapter

The SteamVR Kit is a complete two-controller setup; the AdaptVR Kit adds finger-tracking to gear you own, like an HTC or Tundra tracker.

02

Confirm your headset supports it

HTC Vive, Valve Index and Windows Mixed Reality headsets connect directly over SteamVR; Varjo and Pimax headsets need extra setup.

03

Know what the dongle connects

eteeDongle SteamVR links one SteamVR tracked device to a PC over BLE; it registers in Windows as a SteamVR Watchman Dongle.

04

Charge before your session

Both controllers run about 5 hours per charge and reach full charge in 120 minutes over USB-C, with fast charge and Smart Trickle Charging.

Frequently asked questions

What makes eteeController different from other VR controllers?

eteeController tracks each finger individually with a patented, buttonless touch-sensing system, so it reads a pinch, point or grip without gloves, cameras or other external sensors. It reaches 6 degrees of freedom with a SteamVR tracker, connects over BLE, and includes default gestures for Point, Pinch and Grip out of the box.

What is the difference between the SteamVR Kit and the AdaptVR Kit?

The SteamVR Kit is a complete two-eteeController setup with its own eteeTrackers and eteeDongles included. The AdaptVR Kit instead includes an eteeAdapter, which turns an existing no-input tracker, such as an HTC or Tundra Tracker, into an eight-analog-input finger-tracking controller, for a setup built around gear already owned.

Which headsets work with eteeController?

eteeController runs over SteamVR with HTC Vive, Valve Index and Windows Mixed Reality headsets directly. It also supports Varjo and Pimax headsets with some additional setup. Either way, a SteamVR-compatible tracker and Lighthouse base stations are needed to track the controllers in room-scale space.

What does the eteeDongle SteamVR connect to?

eteeDongle SteamVR enables a single BLE connection to one SteamVR tracked device, such as an eteeTracker, an HTC Vive Tracker, or a Valve Index Controller, and registers in Windows as a SteamVR Watchman Dongle. Each dongle supports one connection at a time.

Can eteeController be used for anything besides VR gaming?

Yes. Because it reads full-finger position rather than button presses, eteeController also suits music production, drone control, virtual-mouse input, and robotics or healthcare prototyping, alongside its default SteamVR gaming setup.
