What is VIVE Focus Vision Business Edition and how is it different from the consumer version?
The Business Edition includes VIVE Business Warranty & Services (BWS) pre-registered, which is required for commercial use and unlocks VIVE Business+ fleet management. It also includes commercial use licensing. The consumer version requires a separate BWS upgrade for any commercial deployment. For any organizational use — training, healthcare, education, or entertainment — the Business Edition is the correct version.
What is VIVE Business+ and do I need it?
VIVE Business+ is HTC's enterprise MDM platform for VIVE standalone headsets. If you're managing more than a handful of devices, you need it. It handles remote control, batch configuration, Kiosk Mode, content delivery, firmware management, and fleet monitoring — without any on-site IT. Standard tier is free with BWS. Pro ($250/seat/3yr) adds remote control and VIVE LBSS. Ultimate ($500/seat/3yr) adds OTA content delivery and custom branding.
Does Knoxlabs set up VIVE Business+ on my devices?
Yes — that's what our XR Device Provisioning service is for. We enroll your headsets into VIVE Business+, apply your COTA batch configuration, install apps, configure Kiosk Mode, and ship devices ready to use. Add provisioning to your order or request a quote to discuss your requirements.
What is VIVE LBSS and who uses it?
VIVE LBSS (Location-Based Software Suite) enables free-roam multi-user VR in spaces up to 1,000 m² using standalone headsets — no base stations, no PC backpacks. It supports headset-to-headset map sharing and marker-based drift prevention. Used by VR arcades, free-roam arenas, enterprise training centers, and healthcare simulations. Available in VIVE Business+ Pro and Ultimate tiers.
Can Knoxlabs provision VIVE devices with ManageXR or ArborXR?
Yes. VIVE Business+ Pro and Ultimate support auto MDM enrollment. Provide your MDM credentials and we configure devices to auto-enroll into ManageXR, ArborXR, or other compatible EMM platforms on first boot. Fully handled as part of our provisioning service.
How quickly can Knoxlabs provision and ship a VIVE order?
