Varjo XR-4 Secure Edition (2026)

The Varjo XR-4 Secure Edition (2026) is designed for classified and air-gapped installations where security, compliance, and operational reliability are non-negotiable. With the same industry-leading visual fidelity and mixed reality performance as the XR-4 Focal Edition, the Secure Edition is built to deliver uncompromised training and simulation performance while meeting strict security requirements.

Assembled in Finland (a NATO member state), the headset is TAA compliant and can be ordered in a Non-RF (No Radio) configuration for environments where radio components must be removed.

Secure Focal Edition (2026)

• Description: Secure, offline-capable XR-4 platform with autofocus passthrough and Varjo Base Pro (Perpetual) included.
• Ideal For: Classified training, secure simulators, and mission-critical mixed reality workflows where near/far clarity matters (cockpit trainers, command & control, advanced simulation labs).
• Tracking: Inside-out and SteamVR tracking supported.

Secure Focal Edition – Non-RF (No Radio) (2026)

• Description: Secure Focal Edition with radio components removed for environments requiring strict RF controls.
• Ideal For: Air-gapped facilities and highly sensitive deployments where wireless transmission must be eliminated.
• Tracking: Inside-out and SteamVR tracking supported.

The Non-RF (No Radio) configuration removes radio components so the headset does not emit or receive wireless signals. This option is used in classified government environments, secure research labs, and facilities with strict RF emission controls.

TAA compliance indicates the headset meets U.S. federal procurement requirements under the Trade Agreements Act. This is required for many government agencies and contractors and helps ensure supply chain and country-of-origin compliance for procurement.

Offline mode supports deployments where systems must remain disconnected from external networks (air-gapped environments). The XR-4 Secure Edition is designed for installations where security policies require preventing telemetry and external connectivity.

Varjo Base Pro is companion software for advanced XR workflows, offering enhanced control and advanced capabilities for professional simulation and mixed reality use cases. In the XR-4 Secure Edition, the Perpetual license is included to support long-term, mission-critical programs without recurring license renewals.
