Goal: To promote the completely redesigned 2017 Kia Niro, a sleek and sophisticated hybrid subcompact crossover SUV manufactured by Kia Motors.
Result: 40,000 cardboards produced and distributed.
Strategy: Kia needed to produce and distribute 40,000 cardboard headsets in order to promote the completely redesigned 2017 Kia Niro. The VR experience was designed to generate leads to market the vehicle by allowing potential customers the ability to build their own car in VR.
The Knoxlabs team was able to get 25,000 headsets produced and ready for Kia's hard deadline. The team also set up a landing page where potential customers could claims their cardboards. The initial 25,000 branded Kia Niro headsets were such a success that Kia ordered an additional 15,000 headsets to extend the campaign.
